iKi is present at the opening of Tenue de Nîmes in Amsterdam

On November 21st Tenue de Nîmes opens a brand new Denim Inspired Boutique for both men and women right in the centre of Amsterdam.
Tenue de Nîmes will represent a natural blend of carefully selected items which all shall embellish life. It will become a raw, unprocessed, downtown shop with fashionable items from countries like Sweden, Japan, Denmark and The Netherlands.
Although the store will unite several unique items from vintage watches and glasses to photography and design, the shop has Denim as an initial concept. Everything between the walls of the denim boutique will be interconnected and will have an underlying connection with the heritage of jeans.

Beach-iKimono and Home-iKimono 2008 winners

On Sunday May 25th Rapa Nui on Bloemendaal beach hosted the first iKimonoshow, organised by the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and iKi beer. Forty AMFI students modelled their interpertation of the Japanese iKimono. The jury included Milou van Rossum (fashion editor volkskrant newspaper), Hans Ubbink (fashion designer) and Toyoko Shimada (artist).

At many events iKi likes to join hands and enthusiasm with DJ Bobbie Morel. Interested?..., you should be! He Started as a classical ballet dancer at The National Ballet, until he went in love with vinyl! His first records where from Tjaikovski and Debussy and off he went to from Rednose district to Chris Lum.
